My hand is Gods hand

I just want to say how truly awesome our God is. For a long time i've been praying that God would use me to help someone in need,and for awhile it wasn't happening. I remember my sister telling me about the times when she was being used by God to share her testimony and i would feel envious of her. But my chance finally came about one month ago. I met a guy off of the internet and we have become good friends.I knew he was suffering from bad depression and after talking with him over the phone for a bit i realized just how much i wanted to help him.I also had suffered from depression years ago and have gotten through it all thanks to my God.As the time got closer to when i was supposed to meet him i almost backed out,but i felt God pushing me forward. I wasn't doing this for myself,but for God.God needed to use me in order to help this person. Just the other night i was reading in the message bible in Proverbs, it said,"Never turn your back on someone who deserves help;Your hand is Gods hand to that person."
I truly felt that was a word from God telling me i'm doing the right thing.I feel so blessed and privelged to be able to do a good work all in the name of Jesus. God is so awesome!

That's is really cool that you could help someone like that. Keep up the good work. Depression is defienently a hard thing to face, but it would be even harder if you didn't have any one there for you. It is such a great thing you helping this person. Good luck. I am praying for you and your friend. things will work out because God has picked you to change change this person's life for a reason.
