I know this thread is directed towards the guys, but as a fellow believer I must object.

Here is a quote from the site's homepage:
Quote:
Are you living? Is your life filled with adventure and mystery and vitality? Or is it a monotonous, repetitive existence?

Do you have dreams? Dreams of doing something bigger than you? DON’T GIVE THEM UP! When people try to weigh you down with “reality,” don’t buy it! Their dreams may have been crushed by “reality,” but it’s only because they didn’t get back up just one more time to roar in the face of adversity, “I’M MORE THAN THAT!”

...The joy of the Lord is your strength. No weapon brought against you will last. You are the son and soldier of the LORD of Heaven, and you will be victorious in His Name. The name of Jesus!

Whoever you are, wherever you are…realize who you are! There is a mission for you to accomplish in this world. Find your goal, seek your destiny, accomplish your dreams! Run! Run! Don’t stop until you die.

...If the Lord is for you, who can be against you? Don’t give up, don’t give in!
Translation: Your whole purpose in life is to fulfill your personal dreams, so pour your entire life's effort into it! God is going to help you do that, and nothing can stop you from attaining your selfish desires because God is on your side. Keep up this frantic pace of striving to chase after whatever worldly goal you have in mind until the day you die. Run, run, run!

Something's wrong with this picture. Namely, the whole focus is on putting yourself front and center while God is a convenient diety sidekick who helps you along the way as you work to make sure that your will be done. It's the secular "American Dream" that's now been "Christianized" with some convenient twists of Scripture in order to make it acceptable to churchgoers. Please listen: you can't spend your whole life doing what you want to do and expect for God to be on your side; the Bible says the exact opposite. Those who buy into that website's philosophy will have a horrible surprise awaiting them on Judgment Day.
Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what he has done. - Matthew 16:24-27

I agree completely with Damaris. Its Gods will that we should be seeking after, not our own.

Something a friend of mine pointed out a while ago is very appropriate right about now. If God intends for you to marry, then let Him "do the driving." English translation: leave your match making in the hands of God. He is the author of the best romances.

To God be the glory!
