hey, kid, don't worry about it. If you are saved then you have no worry about the tribulation John 10:28-29The tribulaton is a scary thing to read about, but if you are saved then you have nothing to fear, because once you are saved, you are saved for life. Like I referenced to the verse above, God will always care for you. He has His Hand on you and He will not let you go through those things no matter wht you do, say, or think; you are His for ood, and always will be.

I agree, some of those things are really scary. For a while I didnt even read the book of Revelations because I was scared of it. Yes, It's disturbing that people will have to go through that stuff. I use it now, though, as an incintive to witness to my friends. Why would I want them to go through all the stuff that Revelations warns us about if I could tell them about Jesus? You also have to remember that some of Revelations is metaphorical and some is not. I hope I've been of help, Allin4Him |

I remember in High School I had a friend who read through revelations one day and later came to school and said he wanted to live like a monk because he was totally freaked out!! There are many interpretations about what will happen, what has happened, and what will happen to us, but I heard an old guy give what I think is an awesome overview of the book of Revelations...."God Wins" If you are a child of God, you are on the winning side! There will be terrible things that will happen, the world will turn on us, we will be pursecuted, tortured, and killed because of our faith. They will take away our basic human rights simply because of our belief in Christ, but God WINS!! Jesus was very clear that we are not supposed to fear those who can kill the body, but afterward do no more. When all is said and done, God will win the final fight, and we will be with Him in glory, praising Him for His Goodness to us. Nothing to be scared about!

Revelations is my favorite book of the Bible. It is true that things in it are scary, but in actuality they are the last, desperate, attempt of a loving God to draw the lost to His kingdom. I can't possibly know exactly what God is feeling, but I can imagine how much His heart breaks to see so many people in this world reject His message outright simply because, in their arrogance and short-sightedness, they choose to reject His existence, or because they are led astray by a lie. He's tried everything else: He's revealed to us the beauty of His creation, given us His word, and then He's even promised to reveal Himself to any person who sincerely seeks Him, yet so many continue to take the Wide path. The terrible judgements He will inflict upon the Earth and the people in it seem gruesome, but they are simply to drive those who still reject him back into His waiting arms.

don't be afraid of revelations! its one of the best books. if you believe Jesus is your Lord and Saviour, we're all winners in the book of revelations. don't be a person that you think you "have" to be because you're christian (the best christian etc), just be yourself and pray to God about your flaws and challenges and work through them - not around them!! my leaders always tell me that. otherwise you'll seem unreal, and thats the last thing you want.
