This happened a few months ago in my home town. Beau and his brother and 2 friends were walking back from target practice. One of Beau's friends was carrying his rifle over his shoulder, Beau was walking behind him. A round was in the rifle still and the gun was not on saftey. There was a hole in the ground as they were walking back. The boy fell in the hole and as he fell he pulled the trigger and the round hit Beau in the head. Beau collapsed. The round was logded in Beau's brain. He was taken to our local hospital. He was then flowen by helicopter to Vanderbuilt hospital. The left side of Beau's brain was not functioning. He went through mulitiple brain surgeys. UPDATE: Beau is now opening his eyes and moving his legs and arms. UPDATE: Beau is now talking to one of his team mates on the phone. He is now moving to a rehab hospital. UPDATE: Beau is now walking with great support! What a miricale God is preforming. I will let you guys know the next update when I get one. Thanks for all the prayers in advanced. It has been amazing what has happened with Beau since when he was shot the first day of Fall Break in october. Beau came home last week  He is walking with great assistance. He has to go back to the children's hospital to have a plate to put in for the part of his skull that is missing. For now he is wearing a helmet. His classmates gave him a big welcome home! He does not have to repeat the 5th grade and is moving on with his class
