Thanks. | It is normal for you to be sad. Like Christianpoet and Becca said maybe the Lord is calling him home to be with Him forever. This reminds me of what happened to a little girl recently. Her family was really close to my uncle and my grandparents. The Page family had waited for what seemed like forever to bring their baby girl home from the hospital. Allie was about 1 year old when she was diagnosed with the parvo virus. (She did not get it from a dog) The doctors still are unsure of how she caught this virus. The virus caused little Allie’s heart to fail. She was immediately put on the top of the heart transplant list. She went through open heart surgery to receive her new heart. Allie was then put on anti-rejection medicine to keep her body from rejecting the new heart. We were getting emails of how well little Allie was doing. You could see this little girl getting better with every email. They had just had Allie’s 2nd birthday in December. The Tuesday before Christmas, little Allie was acting very sick. Josh, her father, took her to the ER because she had been vomiting and was very sick. They went through a bunch of tests and everything seemed to be ok. They took Allie back home. She was still acting very weird. They called the St. Louis hospital where they had spent a lot of time with Allie. They were getting ready to leave for St. Louis to head for the hospital. Josh was holding Allie. All of a sudden Allie screamed and clutched her chest. Allie passed away that moment in her daddy’s arms. Allie died on her sisters 11th birthday. You just have to remember we are all living on borrowed time. We never know when the Lord is going to call us home. We just have to treasure every moment we have with our loved ones. Remember it is never goodbye, it is merely see you later. You will see him again in Heaven. This quote really helps me. "Loving someone means wanting the best for them whether it includes you or not." You, your uncle, and your family will be in my prayers. -Jessica |
