Praise report: Praise God!!!!!!!! :D :D

Sorry everyone. I just go on another forum more than this because their forum is more active. I'm not abandoning you guys! But I've been keeping the other forum up to date with my life.

So let me tell you what's going on.
I have a cousin named Chelsey, who is not a Christian. She doesn't come from a family that are Christians either. THey believe in God, but as you all know, believing in God doesn't necessary make you a Christian. I saw a quote yesterday. And it was really good. It said, "If I sit in my garage every day it won't make me a car, so sitting in church won't make you a christian." Okay, it mentioned church in this quote, but c'mon.

Anyways, we did secret Santa this year andddd I had Chelsey. I've been ministering to her (just inviting her to church and stuff. But God told me to put it up a knotch. So I've been sending her 1 scripture per day!). So for her Christmas gift, I bought her a Bible. And some jeans (because from experience, when I wasn't really walking with God, getting a Bible for Christmas wasn't such a great idea. I mean, I wasn't excited for it. So I chose to buy her two things.) So I bought her an NIV Teen Bible. And some jeans.

Today, I got a text from her. I got so excited. Literally. She sent me this:
Katie, what parts of the bible would you recommend me to read? I'm trying to read it right now but idk where to read."

I immediately told her Psalms. Then I sent her another text for the book of John. She texted me again saying she was confused. That the Bible used big words! But hopefully she is still reading

It's like an answer to my prayer :D :D :D haha.
God is awesome.

omg!! i swear, God is just moving in everyone's life and answering prayers one by one! I have a friend who used to be Christian and went through some things and now she's just kinda...skating along on nothing. I've talked to her a few times about religion and she says it's fine, she just doesn't want it pushed on her. Which that's something i'm TOTALLY not trying to do...so sometimes i feel a little hesitant to talk to her about it. But i really like how you went about this. Thanks for sharing this with us and i'm very happy for you and your cousin!!

well i'm getting kind of discouraged. because i haven't been showing "christian behavior." like, i messed up one time. UGH.

keep praying for her. she's not coming to church with me and stuff. like i ask, but yeah. haha.
