So this guy judged me the most. saying I wasn't a Christian and using sarcasm BADLY. So I sent him some judgment scriptures. I guess it can make someone mad...but I said that he was judging me and stuff. And then he sent me an email. Like, I only sent scriptures out and then he just decided to go everywhere with this email:

Quote:
There are enough lazy Christians who will not call out another brother or sister who is in the wrong. We are called to correct in the Bible. If you do not like faults pointed out in your life, that is inconsequential.

Asking someone to stop their negative behavior, is a lot different than saying "you fool, you are going to hell". If you do not have anything intelligent or cordial to say to me, then refrain from emailing me.

You are still young, and I do not have time for your female drama. I have a wife, I don't need two emotional women to deal with.

^This guy wasn't calling out my behaviors. He's still talking about how I reacted in my anger. That was a while ago. But they're still at it, insulting me and stuff. He didn't call my behaviors, since I didn't really HAVE any. Instead he was judging me. But yeah, I just deleted my account today...so it's all good now :] :]

You guys rock at AY! Love you all<3

I'm glad you found my contribution beneficial, Katie.

The tricky thing about this is that the Bible does indeed say that we are to judge fellow Christians, but it also emphasizes love and mercy over judgement. So it makes sense that both of you believe you are in the right, each clinging to different verses. He is throwing away the "love" part, which is absolutely aweful, and you are throwing away the "judgement" part, which is also not good. Both are needed together, since both are present in the Bible together. God is love, and God is also the great judge. They go hand in hand.

Personally, I've found that when someone is being critical of my behavior, even if it hurts and even if they're mean mean while they're at it, it helps to open my eyes to faults I didn't even know I had. In this way, many "enemies" have unintentionally blessed me with their words. It's a painful but worthy process.

Yeah, just a half hour ago, I prayed to God. Asking that I shouldn't react to my anger but react in a Godly way. I believe he'll help me with that. Because as all of you know, I can get a bit crazy when I get mad

This lady started it all on the forum. Because I wanted to leave the site because they allowed swear words. So this lady just made a sarcastic remark and just said, "Good riddance." And that just made me mad. And then sadly, I became the bad guy. haha.

But I'm glad that it's all over with! :]
Thanks a lot Damaris. I didn't know that the Bible said that. Thanks for letting me know

Sounds to me like from what Katie's described that there's little difference there between adults and kids . My question is why didn't the mods there slap these people down for unChristian-like behavior?

I never understand people who claim to be Christians and then do not follow God's word when it comes to treating others. The way I see it with myself, I know I have problems, so why condemn someone else on theirs? I remember a scripture in Matthew, I believe, that says "how can you point out the twig in your brother's eye when you can't see the stump in your own eye?" or something like that.

I'm glad you did the mature thing and deleted your account. I'm not sure how I would react in that situation. I bet God is very proud of you

Nope. They didn't say a WORD. Like, really. And yes, the adults there are around 40 and 50. I said to them, "I'm surprised that so many older people on here likes to insult a person that's probably 20-30 years younger." And I guess that meant to them that I hated old people. First, that's not old. Old is like 80 years old. Second, I was trying to make a point. So after they kept insulting me, I just didn't argue...I was like, "this is ridiculous!"

HEY GUYS! I accidentally double posted
If a moderator could fix this problem, it'd be muchly appreciated

^thanks so much! and yes, you are absolutely right. i think it's Matthew 7:15-16...but I'm pretty sure I'm wrong so don't trust what I say hahah. I'm going to look it up in biblegateway (i love that website. if you guys haven't heard of it, you should really try it out!) I mean, I know that I shouldn't have fought back and just took the insults. You know, turn the other cheek just like Jesus instructed us. But sometimes it's just too hard for me. So I prayed that whenever I feel like opening my mouth to fight back, to make me notice God and know that this isn't how I should handle it.

The correct scripture was Matthew 7:3-5 (i was really close!)
