Sadness

I know sadness is an emotion
but it is an emotion i cant control
I feel sad all the time
365 days a year
I try to get rid of the sadness
but it never goes away
I thought suicide would be the answer
but its not the one I want
I want to get rid of the sadness
So I can live my life
The life God gave me


I wrote that poem last night

hey hey I'm sorry to read that you are sad. Cheer up, girl...you have a God on your side who will never ever leave you or forsake you. He says so Himself many times all throughout the Bible, in both the Old and New Testament. No joke.

Joshua 1:5 ...so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee

Hebrews 13:5 . . . God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

There's soo many more! Here are just some more (Genesis 28:15; Deuteronomy 4:31; Deuteronomy 31:6; Deuteronomy 31:8; Psalms 9:10; Isaiah 41:17; Matthew 28:20; 2 Corinthians 4:8...)

Keep trusting in God. He sees your sadness. He hasn't forgotten you! Here's a song that I personally find a source of comfort in when I'm sad:

This is really touching. Keep looking for God and he will reach down and take you in his hands and help you through this sadness. I know for me i was in the same position a while ago and he really changed me and now i wake up and feel like I am alive again not empty. Just keep looking for him. It may take time but in the end it is truelly worth the wait. i am praying for you. You are a really good writer.I hope things will work out and you will be able to overcome this. God is with you and he truelly loves you!

Thanks, I am going to write a poem of 5 steps forward...... I am not sure when I will have it done but it will be about the 5 steps I take to get rid of the sadness
