Question Baptism of the Holy Spirit?

A lot of new Chrsitians stop once they have the "born again" experience. It doesn't stop there at all. There is the baptism in the Holy Spirit. I am not talking about water baptism even though that is important too. But how many of you have recieved it? How did it change your walk with Christ?

I received it a few months ago. There was an immediate change... I don't know how to describe it, but it's great!

I believe that Baptism of the Holy Spirit comes directly when you accept Christ.

Acts 1:5, Acts 10:47

If course this is not the place to debate about this, I'm just staing my opinion.

Baptism in the Holy Spirit, or also known as "Speaking in Toungues", is like a prayer language between you and God, only an interpreter who is blessed with that gift can understand what you're saying (if God allows them to) and of course God can understand.

Being filled with the Holy Spirit and Being Baptized in the Holy Spirit are two different things, yet I have heard pentecostals and those whom believe in speaking in tongues use those two phrases to describe speaking in tongues.

Please post verses in response to you thinking that Baptism of the HS is unique only to Speaking in tongues.

Yes, we do use those phrases for Speaking in Toungues (I am Pentecostal).

I'll be back in a bit, to see if I can find any verses.
