Personal statement of faith:
Faith means being sure of things we hope for and knowing that something is real even if we do not see it.

His/her testimony:
Hey. I'm only thirteen, but you'd be surprised how Jesus is using my life. I accepted Jesus at age 9. But I wasn't very active in anything. But when I was 12, God called my family to start a ministry/band. You could say I wasn't very talented. But God put the desire in my heart to learn keyboard and to sing. That was the beginning. A couple months later I started writing songs of my own. I've written around 50 songs by now. Even though I'm the youngest in the band, God chose me to write the songs and compose them. Our band is called "Sal-t", which comes from Matthew 5:13, We are the Salt of the Earth. We have three albums out. Our ministry is in both english and spanish. We've visited youth correctional centers where we've saved around 45 lives. We've played at festivals, parades, churches, and cafes. You can check out our web page at www.sal-t.org. Everything we do is for the glory of God.

How he/she tells others about Christ:
I tell others about Christ through the lyrics He gives me. I go to places where after the show people come to me and say "it's almost like you're reading my mind. Like you wrote it for me". I also reflect Christ in my life. Wherever I go, I try my hardest to be like His child. That's something many christians are chicken to do. But that only makes them a two-face. People at school know I'm a christian, and they know i'm not preachy. They treat me like everyone else. They respect me and my faith. They try not to act like total idiots when I'm around. It's feels good to be myself wherever I am.
