Modeling

I've had this on my mind for quite some time now..

I have been a model since I came to the US, and my career is steadily building.

I know many Christians who are uncomfortable with modeling, especially when it involves swimsuits and lingerie.
I'm completely comfortable in a swimsuit, especially because I'm a diver. I don't really see anything wrong with modeling because my job is to sell the product, not attract wandering eyes.

But there's still a little guilt, when I see a picture of myself so exposed, and I know that the rest of the world can look as they please.

..what do you think I should do? =/

President Bush's Neice is a Model (and Christian) her mother travels with her. If she thinks something is too revealing and her mother agrees she doesn't wear it. I applaud her for her stance on modesty.

That's the only example that i know of a Christian being a model.

Lingerie and swimsuits can be worn in a very decent manner just like anything else. It's not like you're acting like a stripper...

my honest opinion is i wouldnt do it...we have to be the example. if we are trying to witness to some1 and they remember a pic of you or something like that it could ruin your witness...if you feel kinda bad for looking at your pics that is CONVICTION and that is the holy spirit telling you not to do it.....be sensitve to the spirit and God will bless you for it...just put it this way, pretend God came back right now and you were in his presence, would you feel guilty for that??....

I'm a model as well, and I have no problems with it.
It is completely fine with Christ (as far as the bible says) to model, as long as its not for lusts, or appealing to sensuality etc.
again, I'm a model, and I'm also a missionary. I have no guilt, and you should feel no guilt as well, AS long as you're not like doing stuff that guys can look at and think of it as eye candy or something...

also, you're only sixteen, there are many FDA rules regarding sensual trash.
you have nothing to worry about for another two years or so.

Well, I do occasionally model swimsuits. Is that.."eye candy"?
I'm just very reluctant to give up a possible..career.
