How long I've been saved:5 years
Location: Tennessee
Testimony When I was five years old I became curious about how to become a Christian,and that's when I learned about the "bad place"(a.k.a.Hell). I was scared stiff of it,so I told my mom that I wanted to get saved. I had no idea what I was doing or what it meant. I was also baptized at that time. Up until I was nine I lived in fear. I knew that I wasn't a Christian,but I was too scared to tell my friends and family.Then one night as I was listening to my older brother talking in our bunk bed I felt God telling me it was time. I was so scared that I was shaking. I just got up and went into my parents bedroom. I told them the truth,and my mom lead me to Christ. Ever since then I've loved Him...truely. Personal Statement of Faith I wasn't actually spiritually in tune with Jesus until recently when I fell in love with the Word and discovered that God was leading me into the children's and youth ministry. I think you will never be at peace,even if you are saved,until you figure out your purpose in life and seek it with all you have. How I tell others about ChristI have to get to know a person and let them see the way I live so that they'll actually listen to what I'm saying.No one will listen to a hypocrite. I love children. Since I don't have any of my own,I work with the kids in any way that I can. They teach me more than I teach them. I love them so much,and I thank God every day for them. Right now I'm working in the crafts department in VBS. It's a blast!I wish that VBS lasted forever.So many kids are accepting Christ as their Savior. It's awesome!

Just out of curiosity...has anyone been through the same kind of thing?What I mean is,has anyone gotten"saved" and then later on realized that they really hadn't understood the real meaning of accepting Christ?
