Hi. I don't listen to any rap besides eminem. i know he has alot of bad music but think about it. why does everyone always talk bad about him instead of just praying for him that is what we are need to do as christians. what do you think?

I don't listen to any Eminem music, so I don't really know what he talks about. I don't know what people are really saying about him either... Yes, definitely, pray for him.

I don't listen to Eminem. I won't listen to someone with bad lyrics. But I do pray for him. He could be awesome in the Lord cause he is a good rapper.

ENIMEN....i want to kill you mommy thorow you in the closet...etc...i will definently pray for you but i advise anyone not to listen to any and i repeat ANYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY secular music....the devil will get you through that and choke your spirit until your spirit cannot breathe anymore..just like a python...trust me..

I don't really understand what you're asking. Yeah we need to pray for him but we definately don't need to listen to his music. That would be really funny if you met him someday and were like "Eminem! I love your music. I'm such a big fan! Oh by the way...I'm praying for you." Sorry that was kind of off subject but really who would take your Christianity seriously if you listened to that kind of music?

I understand what you mean about secular music and i understand that it can totaly mess up your walk and thats why i stoped listening to his really bad stuff. i just think sometimes we as christians take the deffensive side with stuff like that instead of really taking the time to think about the other person. i mean who's going to take you seriously as a christian if you judge the people who make or listen to secular music. its not our place to judge.

Firstly, when people talk about about an artist, rapper or band or whatever, they arent being judgemental, they're warning you not to listen to them. (and from what i heard, its a good warning to take into concideration)

Secondly... I totally agree with Cory on this one - secular music is bad! dont listen to it.
The bible says to focus on whatever is good, pure, right, just, and whatever brings Glory to God. If what you're listening to takes your focus off any of those, then you can pretty much rule it out (imho).

Def pray for him. Just because you're praying for him doesnt mean you have to listen to his stuff though.

I think he's an interesting fellow. Everyone says free speech, so he should (and obviously is) allowed to rap about whatever he wants. If you don't like it, just don't listen to it.
