Blah.
I don't even know how to put this into words for you guys, but it's like some of my friends here at school are like, "Don't even think about pushin that Jesus nonsense in my face..." They don't say it like that, but its the "true for you but not true for me" type mindset. Relativism is strong here... Blah.
I get so frustrated. I want to be an example of Christ to them, but at some point I think I actually need to use words.
I think what I'm frustrated at is their attitudes about it. And some other people on campus who claim to be Christians... but you'd never know it by their actions... I just don't know what to do.
I also see 'blind faith'. People who believe what they do because that's what they were taught to believe or that's what they want to believe. So they're like, "I don't care what the research/evidence says..." So they just stick their heads in the sand, basically. I don't wanna see them go through their lives without God, thinking that they have him. Such a tangle.
Pray that God opens the flood gates of people's hearts. I want my friends to share in eternal life with me. But right now, it's hard to not be discouraged
I hope this made sense... I'll post more as it develops... bleh.

Don't worry, PureOxygen. God will take care of them someday. I hope they get saved by the time Christ comes.

Me too... what makes it the worst is that they're not even willing to consider the facts. Some people say, "Well Christianity isn't reasonable".... but when I meet someone like that I can talk with them, have patient discussion and usually they see something that they hadn't been shown before.
Not the case here... *sigh*

I have a lot of friends like that. You just need to remember that God will reveal himself to these people. Try not to get discouraged! God will use you as a vessel to get to them. I'll be praying for you to do the right things, but it seems like you already are! Don't give up on them.

One of my unsaved friends just told me tonight: "I was telling Anna earlier that every time I talk to you my opinion of your opinion doubles."
I just wanna be like, "If you value my perspective that much, why do you believe me about all matters EXCEPT the very most important one: FAITH!?!?!"
I haven't said that to him, but still, I just don't get it.
What to do?
