Question Women Pastors?!?!?

Hi Everyone,

Well, my questions to everyone is this:

Do you think it is ok for women to become pastors of any kind? Meaning High School Youth pastor...Junior High Youth pastor...ect.

I know that some people are ok with it and some are not. I want to become a youth pastor. and im just curious on what you think about it.

This is kinda being discussed in the Debates forum...but not youth pastors.
I feel that a male should be a youth pastor, but the wife to be a very important part in the ministry. That's how my mother is, she teaches, and instructs, but Dad is the "main guy" besides, teens respect men more than women.

I think that it is perfectly fine for women to be pastors. I don't think that anyone who wants to praise the LORD shoulpd be able to, in any way!

I have never felt comfortable with the idea of female pastors of any kind, youth or regular church. I believe women fill a valuable role in ministry, don't get me wrong. I just don't think that women are ment to hold that type of leadership role. Should I ever feel led otherwise I would probably be the type to consider becoming a pastor, but I don't believe that it's right in God's eyes.

God bless!

My church at home has female Teaching Pastors (and male of course). I honestly don't know what scripture says about it, so I don't actually have an opinion on it.
If it's all right with God, then it's all right by me; if not, then not.
But yeah women can definitely have many very important roles in the church! They are just as valuable in God's eyes as men!

Keep praisin!

I think it's fine. Heck, look at Joyce Myer!

My Mom thinks that women can be pastors, but she doesn't really thinks they should 'cause the "man" is the "priest of the home" etc etc, and the "man" is the one with the authority..
but to me I don't care. If God called the women to be preachers then go for it!
