Beautiful Souls--Opinions

My website (http://abeautifulsoul.proboards29.com) is for women only, but I realize that men are on this forum...but anyways, I have created an account for guests, that both male and female can access. Please be respectful and not post with this. It's just for the purpose of showing you a new skin that I've made.

When you go to the main page you can see the default skin. When you sign in you can see the new one.
Please tell me your opinion on both of them!!

No one has replied, makes me sad.. no one really uses this forum much, lol. I may open it back up to the public.

But on to your review!

Default Skin - (viewing from FF) The first skin I see is absolutly wonderful. Everything flows very nicely and the colors are warm and inviting. If I posted on boards more, I would definably join your forum. I hate the advertisements but I do realize you are on free hosting, even so though, they flow very nicely into your color scheme and aren't as bad as they would usually be. Your description of your site and objective is plainly laid out so that everyone knows exactly what to expect - that is very nice. My only problem on FF was that the icons to represent new posts/old posts didn't ever display. On IE everything came up quickly.

New Skin - Wow, big change I don't think I was expecting . The butterfly graphic is adorable, I absolutly love it. It's a little big, but it still looks nice. The colors on this aren't as warm as the previous though. The graphics are still very well done but these colors seem more like a type of a site where women who are hurting a lot, depressed, and maybe even angry. It doesn't seem like an inviting, learning, loving group of people.

*These are just my opinions, I'm in no way a professional! I do like both layouts and they both are very different in their looks. I see others have voted for it, and that's who counts - your members. But as an outsider looking in, I like the default skin muchos more.

Thanks for your comment!
Well the group of girls, we have a mixture of girly girls, and tomboys. So I'm going from one extreme to another, and I'm now beginning to make ones that are middle ground. Thank you SO MUCH for your opinion!
