Edit AY! Newbie   | Hey Amanda, I know how you feel right now. I grew up as an AF brat. So far, I have never lived in one place in my entire life for more than three years. It's really tough. My situation isn't quite like yours, because I was homeschooled, but I know how you feel. You feel like you've lost everything you've become attached too, yet you still (being four hours away) want to hold onto it so badly. So close yet so far, huh? I think the best encouragement I've received over the years was this. 1. No matter where you move to, or how far away, God always moves with you, and will never leave you. 2. Remember your family has just moved too, and likely feels exactly the same way you do, talk to them, tell each other how you feel (that is if your still living with your family) 3. (This goes along with #2) your siblings will always move with you and will be your best friends if you let them. Hope this helps. |
