Edit ~me~ ![]() | Month of August Youth of the month ![]() {no picture available} Name: Angela Personal statement of faith: How Long has he/she been saved? 5 years Age: 20 Area of residence: Australia My personal statement of faith is to have faith in something. If you sit on a chair that means you have faith in that chair. His/her testimony: My name is Angela and i have been a christian for about 5 years now. Here is my testimony about how i became a christian.. I was in grade 12 and i was feeling very lonely as i didn't have many friends at school. I was discussing with one of my teacher aides at school about how I can make friends. She asked me if I was interested in attending a Youth Group at a local Baptist Church and I said yes. She phoned the Youth Pastor at that Church and found out the details of when the Youth Group was on. She gave me the details and I turned up on a Friday night and was introduced to the Pastor of that church and he told me what we were doing that night. I joined in the activities and was introduced to all the Youth. I had lots of fun there. There was this one girl named Jeanette and she spoke to me about how youth group was and asked if I was enjoying it and I said yes. She then asked me at the end of Youth Group,if I would like to go to a Sunday night church service and I said ok so I attended that church service on Sunday night and met her there. I really enjoyed the service. At the end of the service they have a thing called SNAC which stands for Sunday Night After Church which is where we go to someone's place for fellowship and something to eat so I went to snack. She asked me then if i would like to go through the 4 spiritual laws and I said yes. So she explained to me what God did for me and went through the 4 spiritual laws with me. At the end she asked me if i would like to make a big decision of asking God into my life. Of cause I said yes, so we prayed and asked him into my life. Ever since I have asked him into my life I have never stopped attending that church for 5 years and am still very good friends with that girl and she is very special to me. How he/she tells others about Christ: I tell people about Christ by saying how I became a christian and tell them what God did for them and that I attend a church service on Sunday mornings and Sunday nights.
