Quick Question

I am dating an amazing guy who i have been best friends with for about 4 years now and i have liked him since i met him and he has liked me for a really long time too. The only thing is he smokes and drinks on weekends and i doubt he is a christian. I have been dating him 2 days and i dont know if i should be dating him or not. What do you guys think?? I am really torn about this and dont know if it is right for me to date him or not.

well i think you know what you should do. If you feel so bad about it then of course you are feeling it's wrong. I think yes that it would be very wise to stop it now aspecially before you regret it and it will be too late to say no b/c you would have ignored it all along. You'll protect yourself and him from going through a mess of problems and guilt with God.So yes girl you need to call it quits. I'm hoping this doesn't offend you or anything it's just my advise. I agree with Karin. You do not want to compromise or put yourself into what could be a hurtful situation.

i dont know i like him soooo much i dont want to break up with him. He doesnt bring me into his lifestyle because he knows i dont like it. I just have such strong feelings for him and he told me he has the same for me.

I agree with Karin and Sarah. Don't put yourself in any danger. Besides 15 is too young to be dating.

I dont think so because ive been dating since i was in 6th grade and i am now a sophmore in high school. I dont know why it is wrong to date him as long as he doesnt bring me into his lifestyle right. Thats what i have always been told. Besides God must have brought us together for a reason otherwise i wouldnt have been so excited to date him. (Im not trying to sound stuck up sometimes it somes off the wrong way.)

im so sorry if i came off snotty i didnt mean to. Its just that i really like Zak and have for as long as i have known him. We have just never had the chance to go out we were both already taken everytime we wanted to.

Sis. I KNOW how you feel. Oh my goodness do I. Believe me I've been there. But it is not good for Christians to date non-believer's whether they bring us into that lifestyle or not. Dating is not a game. It is real and it can damage and scar you. You as a Christian have to be so so so careful as to whom you let in your life that close.Don't settle for second best. God cannot bless you with someone who will share your beliefs and will help you grow if you settle for something that may later drag you down. Do not live by your feelings. Your feelings will blind you if you are not careful. Search God on this not your feelings.
