Hang out with homeless people. Don't try to "evangelize" then, just hang out (IE, don't sit down and say "Do you know about Jesus?" and just have the whole conversation be an effort to evangelize them. Just talk to them, let them tell you their stories and let them know you care about them and value them. If God comes up in the conversation or you feel God tugging you to say something about Him, then go for it, but don't leave the conversation on God if they don't want you to. The idea here is to show them the love of God, not tell them about it.)

We won't help the poor, and turn our faces in shame when we come across the needy and less fortunate But we'll still call ourselves "holy" because we keep our pants zipped up. Adding on to the hypocrisy, the Believers among us WHO DON'T keep their pants zipped still declare themselves to be "holy" because their intentions are directed towards the opposite sex.

Our youth group recently visited a local rest home, and talked to several different elderly people. We brought them "Thinking of You" cards and talked to each of them for a while.

You could also volunteer as a youth group at a soup kitchen or something like that.

Sometimes my family goes with other families to nursing homes and sings and then play games or do crafts with the people there. It's really cool b/c I get to learn more about them and their backgrounds and how things used to be back when they were my age. Well I hope that you find some ideas.
