One Thing Never Goes Wrong

This week was my first week of school. I am pretty much liking it. I am at an Adventist Boarding Academy. So this is all very new to me. Yesterday, was the best day of my life (not exactly). First, my Mom called to tell me that my grandpa was in the hospital and he might not live through the night. Then I was called and told that my best friend wasn't going to be able to see me (he had just come back from Washington and was heading to college) and I wouldn't get to meet his dad. We had been planning on this and I was really looking forward to it. So that night my Mom came and picked me up to go to the hospital to see my grandpa, and on the way there we hit a deer. It messed up the car pretty good, but it is still drivable. This is my first week at academy and it is bringing back so many memories of last February. It was then that, four days before my birthday, my eldest brother comitted suicide. Even though this is not quite the same, I don't feel like going through that grief again. And also other things are going on. Any encouragement. Prayer would be nice by anyone who is willing.

Lord, i pray for Megan right now. I ask that You will take her up into Your loving arms and give her a huge God hug. Allow her to rest in the shadow of Your wings, and remind her that even as all of these things are going wrong, You are there to carry her through. You will always be with her, even if she feels like You are distant. Lord, i ask that You restore her grandpa's health. Help him and his family to cope with the pain that illness always brings to families. Guide and strengthen this family as they go through this difficult time, and show them Your love and mercy so that they may be joyful for Your presence even in times of sorrow. In Jesus' precious and holy name i pray, Amen.

Oh man, i'm so sorry to hear about what's going on. you're in my prayers...don't forget that you can hide in the Shadow of God's Wings. if you ever need to talk you can PM me.
