the only reason ours shut in August for 3 weeks is cos all the youth were away on one camp or another. While people were here it stayed running. Tho we always used to shut its for alot les time this year. Literally while we are all at the various camps or Merseyfest mission. Was crazyly well fallen into place that we all away at the same time! Oh and the week half of them are here we're leading the service anyhow so doesnt matter no youth!

Yeah I can see the point in that. They did this in my youth group too. But I dont see the point in what about the youth that have stayed back, and summer is one of the primal times to reach youth of the community with the Gospel..do I excuse that because I had to go get ministered to?

I am glad I have an assistant leader. I know I am to continue going to Peru and on mission trips as the Lord leads as well as lead this youth group. But I know God sent me an assistand leader for a reason. My youth group won't shut down in the summer. Even on my two weeks trips. I shall go on! My assistant will have his chance to lead solo for those weeks but I don't believe in totally shutting it down if you can help it.

Ya know, I love my youth pastor..I think he is great and I totally affirm, bless and respect him. Sometimes I wish the youth group was at a better place. We are incredibly scattered, no one sees passionate and its depressing..honestly. lol I dont go very often because of that reason. No one is close to one another, or dedicated..I want to see our group become close, totally dedicated to one another that when one person steps out in something the whole youth group goes behind them..now that would be beautiful.

lol dont worry..what you said wasnt offensive..it makes sense. I cant go anyways...even if I had all the motivation in the world..firstly..its on a wednesday night...I dont live in the same town that my church is and I dont drive, so I have no rides. Plus...a few months ago..I was involved in everything and was told by my pastors that I had to drop a few things and that just happened to be one of them.
