New Forum Stuff?

Okay, here is the thing, there is so much we can add to this forum to make it more fun for you but I need your help/opinion. By adding the below hacks/addons there are some things we need to consider:

Addons may be removed when there is an upgrade meaning you may lost previous points.
Addons will have to be removed if I ever need help on the forum from our software providers.
Addons are a security risk - not major, many sites have them but since they weren't programmed into the code initially it could cause a risk.

Below are the addons and their descriptions. You can reply to this thread or just vote for what you want, if any.

Points Addon: This is something where people can give other people points, you get a point when you post, etc. The more points you have you can earn things such as custom titles, custom avatars, etc.
Shop Addon: Here you will be able to buy things (similar to above) once you get so many points. But with this we can also add things to actually sell (like Books, CD's), you will be able to purchase once you get enough $$.
Arcade Addon: Games, this one is cool because you can play against other people on the forum and have the "high score" (not multiplayer games)
Pet Addon: Like neopets.com . Here you will pick a pet and each time you post you feed the pet, etc.

As you can see, these are all pretty much the same and based on points that you earn. However, points are not integrated meaning if we decide to add one or more of the addons, points will be added seperatly.

I will be adding new things the beginning of September based on your votes!

With the shop addon- would that be an additional cost to the site (people gather symbolic dollars and use them to buy real things) or would it be a cost to the people buying the item (people get symbolic dollars then use real dollars for the things)?

Um, lol. I guess the second

People get symbolic dollars via points that they earn or dollars that people give them (real easy to do, you just click and give someone money, the administrators set the limit).The people can buy forum things (such as custom avatars) or things that we giveway such as CD's and Books

No it's all free. It's just things that I addon to the code in the forum. The only thing that could/would cost is if we sold actual items in the store. But I still have CD's and Books to give out that were given to me for free
