Uhhh Ma, I WAS Bi....My testimony

Hey everyone its brother Jonathan here, and yeah this is hard to write, so I thank those who trust and believe that God STILL CHANGES PEOPLES LIVES and I hope I bless someone by sharing this.

I grew up in a Christian/moral home BUT NOT a Church going home. I knew sex was suppose to be after marriage, I was told it isn't good to lie, and all the other basics, Im sure a lot of you were told as well.

So anyway I was about 7 years old and my Aunt Deb invited me to Church with them. I walked in and remember thinking this Church is weird, and of course I still think all Pentecostal churches are weird, but when your worshipping the Lord, I've realized its okay to be weird....its even okay to dance, jump, skip, run, and to loose yourself in God!! AMEN!!...anyway so I went to Sunday school and enjoyed my self. Now jump ahead two years...I went with my aunt again to a revival and I went to get my eye prayed for, I've had problems with them forever but God definatelly had better plans....I remember the Preacher getting the anointing oil and then touching my forehead and then I just started to ball and reach out to Jesus...and I spoke in other tongues (AT 9, for all those who don't believe in tongues, I say your judging those that are filled with God's spirit)....anyway So that was an awesome experience...Eventually I stopped going to Church because my Mom, met my step dad and we moved....from 9-14 I was pretty normal...A good kid, not really getting into trouble but then my Freshmen year in high school my best friend, at the time, decided that we would experiment...I wont go any further into that because its graphic and that isn't necessary. In 10th grade I started looking at pornography on the internet and then I realized I was "Different"....I didn't look at just women...

11th grade I took it to a knew level and I started acting on my emotions, now I am thankful by the grace of God, I didn't go "too far"...as in "all the way"...then I started smoking Pot, HEAVILY, and drinking...I was tormented with thinking that I would have to face reality and start telling people either I'm gay or bi!!!....THEN God started interveaning....AMEN!!!

In the summer of 2004 I went to a graduation party and I drank, not enough to be drunk, but I started feeling really guilty....This was in July...now I am going to jump alot but in the end of July 2004 I worked at Subway..and there was the Christian kid who worked with me and everytime I had a cigarette, he would make a comment...Then I had flashbacks of going to Church and then one time on my way to work I was listening to the radio and the song "You Raise Me Up" by Josh groben came on and I realized I wanted God and nothing else....I then decided to go back to the same CHurch I went to years ago...I was RE filled with the Holy Ghost and as that happen all the doubt about my sexuality went away...I asked Jesus to come in and the torment on my mind about being gay went away!! AMEN!!!!!!!!! Things haven't been the same...I have had a girlfriend for 8 months now, SHE IS DIRECTLY FROM God, and I desire to some day marry her.....God is GOOD!!!

God IS GREAT!!!

that's totally awesome! use that to further the kingdom... you can get very far with a testimony like that!

That is so awesome!!! That testimony made me feel all happy inside! It's like God never stops giving us chances. I love that about Him.
