Lightbulb Nutrition/Eating Healthy

so over in the tanning thread many "anti-tanning" people use the fact that 'it's not good for your body, and we're supposed to honor our body' to say that we shouldn't tan...
this thread is for discussion/debate on health/nutrition...
Is eating unhealthy foods sinful? After all, it's not honoring your body...and your body is God's temple...
so me...i'm a health nut...my natural answer is yes, it's sinful...but what do you people think?

Calling it sinful seems a little harsh, but yeah, I agree.

Um...I agree that it's a sin not to eat healthy,but...I sorda have a slight addiction to junk food.It doesn't help that I have a REALLY fast matabalism, bucause I'm not very motivated to be healthy since I'm so thin.

I think it's reasonable to eat a moderate diet; although I could eat healthier, I could do much, much worse.

Ok, some people take it WAY overboard with our body is the temple, when they should be more concerned with "With whatever you do, do it to the gloy of God" they're focused on the wrong issue...because when you do everything to the Glory of God, then you will be able to really appreciate your Body as the Temple. Also I personally think that the Body/Temple is more on the spiritual side of thing as "Take garbage in, take garbage out"

I could eat healthy, but I love the junk food. I guess some people are guilty of that too.

Everything in moderation. If eating a little junk now and then keeps you from going completely overboard, then that's a good thing.

I'm a junkie lol I don't think I could give up the junk food. Although i'm not exactly in the best shape of my life I am happy with who I am. Would losing a few pounds and striving to have a better looking body make me feel different. I honestly can say from expierence that eating healthy foods is great it helps you feel great but I would never take it to the extreame to eat so healthy that it makes me feel unhappy. So yes I could improve my eating habits but will I probably not lol because I just love those sweets
