feeling down...

be praying 4 me guys. i just got a really hard blow.

one of my closest friend just phoned me up. she was really hard, and told me that she wanted to drop our friendship. i wanted to know why but she wouldn't tell me.

finally she said, "joy, you are just too fanatical for me. i don't want a friend who is so stuck on Jesus."

that hurt me really bad. i thought she was a better friend than that.

man this hurts so bad... i don't know what to do. i feel like sobbing.

help me, someone. please...?

Oh man...I'm sorry! I know what you're going through though. I lost my best friend a couple years ago. Keep her in your prayers. God can use this...somehow.

Hey am so sorry that this person doesn't want to be your friend anymore. And i know that is really hard but just think how proud God is of you right now. You have been living a life so passionatly for Him that others around you are noticing. And for His sake you have to be willing to give up everything even your friends (as hard as it is).

people are always going to be made uncomfortable when they no their life is not right with God. So even though your friend has hurt you continue to pray for her and watch God work.

I will praying for you also as you go through this, i know that it is very hard. take care and remain strong in christ.

Stellie is right Joy-Girl. You know that girl you are soooo awesome. I have not seen such an on fire teen like you in a LONG time. It has been a fresh breath of air to read your posts and feel your fire. Don't please don't ever change. It's not worth it. This generation needs you the way you are. You have something that alot of teens don't. Being stuck on Jesus is the best thing you can be stuck on. Satan is trying to tare you down hun. I know you can see it. You must see it. He knows you are a power house and that is the last thing Satan wants is for a wonderful young lady like you to be so on fire. It will ruin his plans. You know who you are in Christ. Don't lose sight in that. Not to many teens know who they are in God. Be ratical. Be real. It's needed and you have it.

Trust me I know what it's like to have people say things similar to what your ex"friend" said to you.. Just shrug them off.

Praise God Joy, Seriously, If your friend can see Christ in you and knows how important he is in your life, than you should be estatic, I know its hard losing people you thought were your good friends, but in the end its going to be worth it. You are in my prayers and know that you are an inspirtation to me

I agree with what everyone else has already said

I will keep both you and your friend in my prayers, and the LORD loves you both.
I definitely know what it's like to lose a good friend, and to be put down for faith. I know it hurts. But Jesus says, "Come to me, you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Give it over to him, cry on his shoulder, you'll grow closer to Him for it!

To those that responded, thank you. Thank you so much! it meant so much
to me to read your posts, and see your caring hearts, and to know that
you are backing me up with your prayers.

one thing i have learned about satan; he will kick you when you are
down. And not only kick. but stomp, and beat you until you scream
out in pain. But as David says, "i will lift my eyes to the hills,
from whence cometh my help."

to be perfectly honest with you guys, i've been having a lot more
problems than what i put.
even my parents think i've gone crazy. me dad screamed at me the
other day, "just shut up! stop talking about Jesus." i was so hurt.
i feel like an out cast from the rest of the world. its not easy to
be differant. but it hurts when even your christian parents think
you are wierd.

and now i have just been told that my health problems are getting worse.
i have always been prone to pneaumonia, and now the docters say that
i can't ever leave America, or i will die.
but how can that be? i've been called to be a missionary!

i try not to feel discouraged. right now, i am not down.
but sometimes, like when my parents yell at me, i feel so down.
but one thing i know, God is good. He will never fail me, disappoint me,
or hurt me. my God is a good God! And Jesus is always there when i need
Him.

but i would like someone that i can email when i have special
prayer requests. Would anyone do that for me?

Hey Joy, i read this verse and thought of you: "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is you do not belong to the world, but i have chosen you out of this world. That is why the world hates you." John 15:18-19

You have been chosen by God, and the hate of the world and those who belong to it will come upon you because of this. Even though your parents are making your life difficult keep being an example to them, don't stop speaking the word of God.

Don't give up on your calling to be a missionary, keep praying about it. God may have called you to be a missionary within america cause there is still plenty of people there who need to know God.

Joy girl. Such a wonderful beautiful awesome young lady. Do not be bound by what others say about you. You will do as the Lord has called you to do. Not the doctors and don't claim it. No No No. You will go on missions if that is your call. The doctor is not God hun. Hold on to your faith. Don't doubt. It's Satan the deceiver knocking on your door and don't you answer. Satan sees you mighty warrior. He sees you rising up and guess what. He does not like it one bit. That is why people are turning. He is whispering lies in their ears. But that is all they are lies from the devil. But you have authority over Satan and EVERYTHING he speaks. Don't let him plant seeds of doubt in your thinking. You are going to go far. Farther then you can imagine. I know what it's like to be different. Most Christians reject me as well as non. Ya it's the truth. Even other Christians will reject you. You know why. They are dry bones. but you are to go as the prophet Elijah did and prophecy to the dry bones becuase the call has gone out for the army of the Lord to rise up. You joy-girl are God's vessel. And you will definitly go through alot but oh my goodness what you gain in return will be so much more. What you accomplish for the kindgom will be awesome! It's happening already. God is using you. He is training and equipping you. Sending you out as His ambassador to His people and to the lost. That is awesome. Don't let go and be encouraged.
