Newbie ![]() | pledges, anyone? hey guys! i have a LITTLE problem. jk. actually its pretty big. ummmm. yeah, well any of you who have read the few posts that ive written know that i have made a pledge not to date until after i graduate from h.s. well, if you do the math im only going to be a sophomore next year. i have never had a bf, but i have had many crushes in my time and it gets really funny. okay, but heres the kicker. theres this guy that i go to camp with. hes REALLY REALLY nice and i like him a lot. i think im starting to get a full blown crush on this guy and like we're good friends and stuff. im afraid that he is going to figure me out and that hes going to ask me out. the thing is he doesnt know about my pledge. he doesnt know that i dont want to get involved with anyone. sooooo i really dont know what to do and i have to see him tomorrow!!! eek!!! so if anyone could help me pronto. i would mucho appreciate. guys your opinions are welcome too. im just really nervous. and even if you dont reply, could you pray for me? Edit Guest | I'll be sure to pray for you, hon. The thing to do is this: If he asks you out, tell him about your pledge and that yeah, you like him, but you want to wait to date. If he's a good guy, he will understand. If he doesn't or he isn't willing to wait, well, you may want to get rid of your crush, because he's not worth your time. If he doesn't ask you out, then don't worry about it, just have a good time and enjoy his friendship. |
