how do u guys feel about buying "foreign" products in your country??
in south africa we've got this thing called "Proudly South Afrocan" where people are 'motivated' to only buy South African produced products.......
sounds stupid , but i think it helps......it strengthens the country's economy etc.....

ALMOST EVERYTHING in the US is made in China, Taiwan, Italy, etc. pretty much the only thing that's made in the US, are US flag pins, USA shirts, water, etc....so we don't have a choice....

I dunno. I don't mind buying foreign products, especially since they're usually cheaper than American, but I also recognize that American products are usually higher quality than their foreign counterparts, due to extensive business regulations and such, so... *shrugs* I prefer American-made, but I don't always have that option.

Actually there are a few more products made in America. Probably most of the produce is made domestically. Cars are made domestically. I agree most of the stuff that we see is imported. However, there are still some things that America produces.

Well you're obviously not looking hard enough. Research and look around if you're concerned.

I'll buy imported stuff if I've checked out the company and I'm convinced there was no affiliation with sweatshops. Mostly it would be a small buisiness that travels once a year buying, and then selling here, not big groups.

Most of my stuff is Canadian though.
