Is this considered sin?

When you got a bf and you think about what would it be like to have sex with him? Is that considered a sin?

Well,Jesus said that if you think about having sex with someone,you've commited adultery with them in your heart.So...yeah,it is a sin.

Lust=sin

need I say more?

alright fine!

If you are thinking about those things you are lusting in your heart...your not thinking pure thoughts and it's not bringing glory to God.

Ok - so you can rate it better than thinking of sex wit someone elses bf cos that would also be being unloyal and rating is what we do as humans. However being a christian isn't about trying to do the most sin we can get away with... and it isn't about saying somehings alright just cos something else is worse! What i will say tho is that we all sin so don't feel like your on your own wit this and thats why Jesus came and not only has he saved us but he then sent the Holy spirit to help us live without sinning and to help us get past the temptations. But we have to be willing to let him help us out as he wont push you into anything you dont wanna do or make you stop anything you dont wana stop...

i used to try and explain away sexual thoughts saying - its alright its only thoughts. But thoughts sew ideas that can start leading to actions and you sin first in your mind.. now i try to take every bad thought captive in christ... doesnt mean its easy but my life alot better for it.. until i occasionally slip of course.

Let me be honest: As a guy, I would be pretty upset if I found out my girl was fantasizing about having sex with me. First of all, we should have control over our thought lives, and she's sinning against me by thinking of me that way, but secondly... That's just degrading to me. I want her to think of the moments we have together, enjoying our relationship how it is now, rather than fantasizing about what would only happen much later. I mean, think about how you'd feel if your guy told you he visualized having sex with you in his head.

And you others, thanx, I know I'm not the one asking the question, but THANKYOU so much!

I am sorry, but it makes me sad that a 13 year-old is fantasizing about having sex. That is odd to me. I haven't even been kissed yet, I am no where near ready for sex (which will, yes, be saved for my husband). I just think that you need to slow it way down.

Yup....

Hey...Sorry to say but it is a sin... It's lust. Lust comes from Satan. That's why masturbation and those thoughts are wrong because you're abouth someone in a lustful way...read 1 and 2 corinthians....there is many teachings on sex and stuff like that!
