Edit AY! Newbie | ~ This is my first post. I am sorry if this is in the wrong place or if i break any rules. If I do it is not intentional. ~ This thread is for christians in relationships who need to ask for advice or prayers. This is my current prayer request ~ My name is Kelly. I am 18 years old. I have been a christian for about 3 years. About a year ago I started dating a boy named Eric. At first our relationship was christ centered. We went to church together and stayed on the phone talking about God and the bible. However over time we began to stray. We have made some big mistakes. We have put an end to our sinful behavior. We talked about breaking up but want to try to stay together and make God the center of our relationship again. If anyone has any advice I'll be grateful to hear it. Plus any prays would be awesome. |

Edit Guest | If you want my honest opinion, I think you two should break up, even if only temporarily. I'm sure I'll get jumped on for this, but before you can build a relationship together, you need to build your relationships to Him apart. Also, when there's past sin in a relationship, that can kinda make things sticky. Not to say that's a reason to break up, but you may want to just give it time and let whatever issues there are be worked out before you try to come together under God's leadership again. |

Edit AY! Newbie ![]() | Well, look at it this way. God comes FIRST in my life. FAMILY comes next. Everything else (including this relationship) will fall into place according to God's plan. I'm not going to tell you to break up or stay together just think of your priorities and don't pull each other down and most of all pray about the situation |
