Does This SOund Crazy To You?

My question is about if you think how I feel as a 19 year old guy is crazy or weird. Lately I have been feeling so happy when I see children and want to have children also and a wife of course. The thing is I am only 19 so I am pretty sure not many 19 year old guy's feel the same way as I do. Do you think it is crazy/weird that I want to be married with children at my age?

not at all - i have a couple of broody guy mates at the mo... let me ask - you bin around alot of little kids recently? cos that often sets it off... hmmm s'alright it comes and go's in phases and is a chemical balance thing.... yer... human nature!

You responded by saying it is probably a phase if I have been around little kids lately and I am not most of the time. Only at church or see them like once a week when I am out. I think it is more than a phase. What do you think?

well its a nice thought enit! I bin there - life to hectic to think about those things at the mo.. but what i meant is its phasal - you want it then you think no im to young then you want it now again and then not yet etc... sometimes seing kids just sets it off sooner is what i meant - not that it the only cause ya know?

It is natural to desire this,
Some people get it a little bit more then other's.
Nothing wrong at all with it either.

For now though seek God and put your plans in his hands.

No.I'm 14 and want children sooo badly.It's the deepest desire of my heart.

I don't think it's crazy at all (at least I hope it's not). I feel the same way sometimes and I'm only 20. I think of how nice it would be to get married and move on with my life. And I think how cool it will be to have kids someday. I'm not planning on doing this tomorrow but I understand how you feel.

I've wanted to get married and have kids and be happy about that for like 3 years, but I'm WAAAAY too young, and in MY opinion I don't think I'm Mature enough anyway.

You are perfectly NORMAL!

*sigh*...if you only knew!!! Anyway...I am 17 (I will be 18 in a few months) and my passion in life is children...so naturally I'd like a few of my own. I have dreams...I have desires...I have wants...and I have a bit of a hard time thinking about how I have to wait for those things. It's my belief that the desire to have a family of your own, especially at a younger adult age (18, 19, 20...whatever) is precious....not only that...but being a guy...that's like, whoa! Having that desire is a gift...I know too many parents who are too selfish to have children...to even be married at all. It's a blessing to be that selfLESS to want to give of yourself in that manner. I think that it's really awesome that you have those desires...it's actually very encouraging to know that there are guys out there like you. That maybe someday, I can marry a man who will love our kids as much as I know that I will. Thanks for being that encouragment to me!!

I asked the same question on another Christian website's forum and someone said

"You are definately not crazy! You're just in a way maturing. Because guys your age usually want to just like go from girl to girl because of their immaturity, but you've just realized that that's something that you don't want to do. It's a good thing! Soon you'll meet the girl who is feeling the same way, and it could really work out!! God Bless!"
