A Flirt...how can you tell

i'm not very smart or quick when it comes to picking up on things.

so will you guys please help me out?

how can you tell when a guy/girl is flirting with you; rather than just being friendly?

There was a guy i was friends with; i mean i got to be really good friends with him. one day i was talking with my girlfriend and she remarked...

"Martin is such a flirt."

I got mad, and accused her of lying.
But later i began to wonder...

So tell me, how can you tell when some one is a flirt?

One of my guyfriends is sooo friendly and naive that more than half the time he doesn't know when he is flirting or just being nice...and neither does anybody else!lol
But to get back to your question...I have no idea.lol.Sorry!

yeah, its the same way with a couple of my guy friends!

they've been homeschooled, and grown up around 'good girls'.

so honestly, i don't think they are intentionly flirting...

Well you can just tell, to me any way. They are all ways trying to be nice, they are all ways realy close to you or wanting to be close, but not tuching you. They are realy happy to see you becuas your the best thing since sliced bread.

As for the homeschoold part you tend to be more open to girls, out of 13 close frinds ( we grew up to geather) 10 of them are girls and 3 are guys. So i have a lot of friends that are girls and i get asked if im flirting and i just say no becuas im not there jsut friends.

Tough question! Sometimes it's obvious when guys are flirting with girls or girls with guys!!! It's when you actually DEMONSTRATE interest in another person of your opposite sex!

This ... is tough. See, I do not consider myself terribly flirtatious, yet a lot of people tell me, "You're such a flirt!" But I can definitely tell you that I am most DEFINITELY a flirt when it comes to my girlfriend. So what's the difference? It's in my mind, really: I flirt with my girl because I like her. With everyone else, I'm polite, but not over-the-top flirtatious. If you can tell the difference between polite and over-the-top flirtatious, then you'll know a flirt.

i think it differs with everyone cos each persons way of flirting is different... but hey its a good sign if they are treating you better than every other girl in the room and complimenting you the most etc... hope that helpfs

Hey guyz,

The only realy good way to tell if someone is flirting is to ask, or just tell them that they seem realy flirtatious and see what they say. Because everyone is different and we all act differently and take things different way, so it all depends on the person.

I am very protective of the girls that I have grown up with, I play around a lot but I don't flirt with them. It is all in the way you are thinking when you do it.
