Edit Guest | Heathen Friend My friend Justin is a heathen and doesn't believe in God. I still believe in God and he makes fun of me, saying that I am wasting my time worshipping. He also says that churches are just out there to rip people off. How can I convince him that he is mistaken and help him find Jesus? ![]() |

Edit AY! Newbie ![]() | Tell him the church was made for worshippers to come together and praise God, grow spiritually, and help others. It's not a place to ruin all 'the fun'. Tell him that by believeing in God you DO have to give up some sinful 'fun', but what you gain, salvation and love of God, is completely worth it. |

Edit Prophet/Prophetess ![]() | Best way to point him towards Christ is to live like Christ and let him see Jesus in you.

We won't help the poor, and turn our faces in shame when we come across the needy and less fortunate But we'll still call ourselves "holy" because we keep our pants zipped up. Adding on to the hypocrisy, the Believers among us WHO DON'T keep their pants zipped still declare themselves to be "holy" because their intentions are directed towards the opposite sex. -http://www.hollywoodJesus.com/ |

Edit Prophet/Prophetess ![]() | an remember if we are persecuted for Christ we are sharing in what he went thru and there will be so many blessings you'll recieve as you stick at it to help you do it! Real chance for you to grow... Maybe challenging him isn't the best approach - however.... being real when he asks you q's is! And living for God 100% makes such a difference. |

Edit Prophet/Prophetess ![]() | you guys might not agree but in my opinion! (and ok i could be wrong) but maybe you should not witness to him in words but in actions! somtimes people only get saved by reading us as their bible!! you are the one he sees most often so let him see the God side of you! (hope that makes sense) Pray for them and the Lord will work in his mysterious ways! hope it helps!! x |

Edit Prophet/Prophetess ![]() | You want to convince him he needs to become a Christian? Use God's Law. Ask him if he thinks he is a good person. He will probably say yes. Then ask him if you could ask him a few questions to see if that's true. If he says yes, ask him if he as ever told a lie. He should say yes, Then ask him what you are called if you tell lies. He should say " A lier" Ask if he has ever stolen something If he says yes ask him what you call someone who steals He should say a thief. Basically what you want to do is show him that on judgement day if God Judges him by the Ten Commandments, which he will be guilty of breaking them and if he is guilty he will be thrown into Hell. That is why it is so important to accept Christ as your personal savior. The punishment that we should have gotten, He took for us and saved us for eternity. If we repent and believe he will come, give us the Holy Spirit and we will be able to live for Him, for now and eternity. Explain to him it isn't about church, or religion. It is about having a personal relationship with the Creator of the world. I don't know how much fun he thinks the world is, but when you compare life in the world and life with the Creator of it, the world doesn't stand a chance. |

Edit Prophet/Prophetess ![]() | you know, i wouldnt call him a heathen. because Jesus died for him. and just because he doesnt like church doesnt mean that God wont use you to lead him to christ. you know, love wins the most. love him to salvation. that same love christ showed you, show it to him. and let the fruit of the spirit be so evident in your life. be patient with him. be kind to him. show humility. love him with the love of God and just remember someone loved you enough to lead you to christ. so love is the answer. |
