Odd occurance

Don't know if this is the right place for this ,but here goes....

I live in South Africa ,Cape town in a Coastal village here and I'm White
just by the way ,I know the tendancy to assume ones black if you're from here ,lol.
Don't misinterpret "Village" as huts and things ,thats just what the place
is classified as.
Another thing ,I'm a terrible speller ,and a worse editor ,so just laugh at my
mistakes ,I usually miss some bad ones even after several "Proof reads" Sigh!

Anyway...near the end of last year I had an incident happen to me which after
contemplating the thing for a while I realized its not the first time either.

During Descember last year ,there was a strange night ,you know... it just felt
odd ,this particular night was a clear and moonlit night ,so as I often do I
went for a walk ,and at the end of the one road I walk down there is an open
drain with railings surrounding it ,as I was around 60 meters from this
drain a huge black shape shot from the trees on the right and funneled into this
drain ,the side area it covered was roughly 4/4 meters thats roughly 14/14 feet
in size ,and it was quite clear as it silloetted over a white wall as it
moved down and the moon gave reasonable visibility.
Now I've always been a bit brave for my own good ,so I carried on walking
despite this
As I neared the drain keeping as far as I could from it I could hear a furious
scuffeling and crunching sound as if something was wildly thrashing the grass
that grows inside the drain ,this ofcourse sent my bravery out the window ,but I
was past the halfway mark so I carried on down the walkway after the drain
glancing back as I took the corner and it seemed rizen out a bit ,maybe eyeing me.

Well anyway ,later I remebered how some of the Anti-Satinisim police unit we have
here told how they were chased off a gathering they were sneaking up to by several
very similar things ,moving through the trees like this one did!.

And I also recalled later that this wasn't the first time I've heard this thrashing
sound ,earlier that year I heard something like this from a drain under a bush about
2 blocks away during a similar walk on a similar night ....mmmmmmmmm.
Didn't think much of it though,although it did give me the creeps.

Now I suspect we might have a group of their followers of one kind or another here
because once we had somebody plant a semi-perminent flag with occultic stuff on
it near a permenent cross we have mounted on the hill/mountain next to the village.

Now what I'm interested in finding out is has anybody had experiences like this
before ,or heard of something similar ,I mean South Africa can't be the only country
that has the police cracking down on satinisim?

What should one do when faced with something like this ,I assume suicidal bravery
like mine ,no matter how short lived is out!

i sorda agree with the other guy. but i've never really heard much about the police going after them, althoughi know there are some out there.just be careful when ure out walking, or whatever at night, and dont let ure curiousity get the best of you. be careful. if need be call the police.interesting topic though.God Bless!

Sorry, to say, but I've never heard of the police in the US track down Satanism?

Did you ever find out what the thing was that made the crackling sound, or the thing in the drain?

yea im curious as to what it was too, we probly all are. i didnt know that ppl tracked down satanist though, i guess its an eye opener on some things. hm.anywho like we've said, be careful!

they don;t crack down on it cause its not illegal!

Contrary to popular belief, the vast, vast majority of Satanists don't participate in vile rituals in order to make people's lives miserable. They're just members of a Church who chose Satan as their 'master' to annoy fundamentalist Christians.

I think I saw that on the Discovery Channel once.
