Youth group activities?

Hey, summer is starting soon and my youth pastor is looking for fun events for the youth group to do. Anybody have suggestions?

well, my youth group is going to connecticut in July. Its the 7-9 and its a Joels Army youth and young adults event. Its serious times about God but also fun want more info?

christian music festivals. Some i want to go to are Lifest, which is in wisconsin, and there is also Cornerstone, in Illinois. They's a ton during the summer.

And then there's always mission trips.

i'm excited for mine.

Well, last Sunday our youth group had balloon wars. Everyone brings their own ammo (balloons, water guns, sponges) and we meet in the church parking lot. First it is just some warm up games like a balloon toss and such and then it is just a free-for-all. It is really fun and to keep it clean we all wear clothes over our bathing suits. I hope you can try it out!

Some of our more interesting activities that were/are planned this summer is volleyball games...we're all a bunch of v-ball freaks!

Also, they had planned a (just youth) sunrise service at Lake Erie with brunch and v-ball afterward. Sadly, I had to miss it because of something going on at my church, but it had to have been totally awesome!

my youth group goes out for chinese every thursday and have discussion talks while we are eating dinner. then we walk back up to the church and play board games and such. it's fun.

in our uth grp each week we have a certian theme which is always really good, and we play lots of different games and ask the ppl wat they would like to play, and we also have hang and chill nites where u just all do what u want. its gr8 fun i love it lots

A little late for this one, but Summer camp. Ya'll on the west coast have Word of Life camps. It's a WONDERFUL camp! The best around. They also have one in New York in the Adorondack (spelled wrong) mountains, and one in FL.

Well at my church we have like food eating contest umm... our youth pastor also wants us to be unique so he told us to think of designs and create a line of clothing so that we can wear them in a cute fashion and an honoring God fashion with scriptures and stuff like that. Also when school starts, every wednesday we would have school jam which is where every school in lake charles and Iowa Louisiana get a nite to represent thier school at church. Its really fun and then after all the schools are represented, on that last Wednesday we have a very life saving service and prizes are given away we have a guest speaker come and all the schools are joined and so many teens are saved. It's really awesome!!
