hey everyone this is a book that a friend of mine and i are writing.i would like your help on it post what you think should be in...its about 6 kids that there parents are archeologist and they want there own square to work in,any ways there parents finally give them a square where they had already checked it out and they told the kids that they can have anything they find.well the kids are digging and they find this box and cant open it except a locket that was given to them.so they finally figure it out and open it and there's like ten necklaces and each of them get one and they go home anyways like the next day kinda thing they lock at the necklaces and they find a button on one of them and they press it,and all the sudden this beam comes out and connects with the rest and all the sudden they go back in time.the book will kinda be like a series about going back in time,at the end tho they find out that's it is impossible to go back in time(it says in the bible)and they wonder what did happened and the next day the necklaces and the box are gone,so they wonder if God had given it to them to teach them a lesson or something.anyways if you want to help just post

chapter one:the legend
1997

"Grammy,can you tell me a story?"Asked 7 year old Smarty.her real name was Larane.
"All right,Larane."Grammy sighed.
For some odd reason Grammy had never called her by her nickname,but smarty didn't mind.
"This time I'm going to tell you the old legend of Jimmy Jones..."
"who's Jimmy Jones?"smarty interrupted.
"i was getting to that."Grammy chuckled.
"long ago,there was a man named Jimmy Jones,and one day he decided to go out west."
"really,cool!smarty exclaimed.
"as soon as he got to the wild west,he decided to stake a claim,aftere he got his claim he began to for silver,for a couple of years he got nuthing,then all the sudden he hit a Gold vain,he hid the gold in a box that could only be opened with a special key,then one day the key disappeared."
"oh,no!"smarty exclaimed as she pulled her knees to her chest.
"one day day as he was mining in the cave,the claim was in a cave,the cave began to clapse."
"oh,no!"smarty said as her is went wide."then what?" she wispered.
"well,he ran and ran as fast as he could to the opening of the cave,and he made it out just as it collapsed."
smarty shivered.
"he was thankful to make it out alive,then he remembered that his box of gold was in there,Jimmy was so sad that that he gave up mining and went back east."
"then what happened!"smarty said as she bounced on the bed.
"no one knows."
"that it,thats all,rats!"
"i think you should go to bed now"Grammy whispered as she turned off the bedroom light.

chapter 2:the dig
8 years later

"that's awesome,they let us have a square!"14 year old Kit yelled loudly.
"really?"Kiki's said softly as she arrived on her bike.
"yes,yes,yes!we did it,we did it,we did it!"19 year old mac being his usual loud
self.
"ouch,quite down,please!"Smarty said as she covered her ears.
"what your not happy about it?"Blaine grinned,always being the joker of the goup,he was 18 years old.
all of their parents are archialogist,and worked together.
the teens had begged and begged for a square to dig in,but their parents weren't so sure about giving them one.
"oh,and they said we can have anything we find."Smarty said as she fingered her locket.before her Grand ma had died she had told Smarty that the legend of Jimmy Jones was true.
"awesome,lets get going."mac said as he grabbed a trowel."we can go in my car."
"sure, as soon as i visit Grammys grave."Smarty said.
"we'll all go.i sure miss her,she was an awesome story teller."Kiki softly stated.

this is far as I've gotten, so add anything or give ideas,please.

That's really good so far. Once you finish it, are you going to get it published?
