tough times

I've posted my testamony in another forum earlier this year and the feedback i have had most is that it has really encouraged people, so this is my hope for those who read this:

I was sexually abused last year by a family friend and it went on for many months. It was really interfering with my life and with my christian walk. I was holidaying with a friend when i thought i had to talk to her. When my holiday finished, everything seemed to happen so quickly, soon enough the authorities knew.

I was told a checkout would be a good idea, just in case i had developed any disease. I had found out that i was pregnant. I knew that i had a choice to make and being a usually indecisive person i found it hard.

So six months forward in time, I'm expecting a child in 12 weeks, I have overwhelming support from family church and friends, I am very excited, and i think this was a necessary trial to go through to see God's purpose.

I'd like to take this opportunity to encourage anyone reading this, that if you are going through a hard time, to totally lean on God, He will see you through.

I'm glad everything turned out alright and I'll be praying for you.

I was also sexually abused but it was by my biological dad and I was only a child...

anyway thank you for posting your testimony - I hope you like it here at AY!

yep I'm having the baby in 12 more weeks, it's going to be a little boy, i'm just not sure what i'll call him. I think it's one of those cases where I need to look at him for the first time to actually name him.
