I am longing for your guidance in trials, In times when I need your love, I know you're right there. But oh LORD, My heart is forever wandering and is forever homesick, I miss the days when we had time together daily, when you gave me the answers I needed. I have never been homesick like this before. My heart is an open door to your love, waiting for the flood to come, I cry "Lord!" and hear no reply, but still, I know your there, Oh how I am homesick! No words can tell how homesick I am! I need you Jesus, to come to my rescue now, for my life is going downhill, I've never been homesick like this before, Lord come to my rescue. Be with me now in my times of trouble, when I need you the most, For you said in your Word "I will never leave you nor forsake you", I hold true to that Word knowing you fulfill all your promises, I need you Jesus, to come to my rescue...cleanse my heart, purify my mind, I've never been homesick like this before, Lord come to my rescue. Based on the feelings I had today |
