Original poem

For This, God,

I'm so scared, but I can't find a way to understand
I know exactly what it all means
I'm still not wanting it to equate to that
Though I've found You
And even have an earthly anchor
I still feel so alone in this
So hard to, to not blame You when I've been taught
You create all so why this
Why must I go through something like this
Again and again
Why can't I get through something like this
For the first time
Why can't I just give up
Like always
I must not be strong for this
Then I'm reassured from a warm person that
I don't have to
You're here and I'll pray for your strength
To work in me, with me
Don't let it be but if it is
I'll try to make it fine by me


writing's gotten me through some rough stuff. God works it all out through my love for it.
