My poem

How do I write something I don't feel
Do I really love you
Is this real
They say love is great
Something bigger than reality
I don't feel that
Maybe I need to wait

What I feel is empty,incomplete, and undone
Words run dry from my mouth
But love is a victory
Something that's won

So why don't I feel it
Why do I cry
Because this is not love
This is a lie
Nothing is patient
Nothing is strong
Nothing is forever
So why carry on

Because all we will do
Is end up in a rut
With no one to care for us
Or help us back up

We'll have to live with a constant regret
A pain in the soul
Memories Full
Of something unwhole

I need to stop
Believe me I do
It's something hard
but very true

Than after I do
It will be easier
To not be attached
To stop worrying
About you

Each time I tell you
I feel like a liar
Who is filling your mind
With a deceitful fire
A fire of lust
Of lies and of sin
But love is trust

Trust that begins
And ceases to end
Trust in each other
Trust in God
That for us won't come
Because we use it
And hurt it and burn it
And bruise it
