Youth of the month

{no picture available}
Name: Tina
How Long has he/she been saved? almost a year
Age: 13
Area of residence: Minnesota

Personal statement of faith:

That God sent his one and only son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins.
That God is love.
That Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and that no one gets to the father except through him. That public worship is a great opportunity, and that its better not to always worship alone. That we are brothers and sisters in Christ. That the bible's stories teach us how to live life, like a manual, but a lot is taken and lost in translations. So we shouldn't take one certain word to seriously, but also read the sentence around it. That God is kind and waiting for us. That there is two options, and one important choice to be made on this earth. That women, should be allowed to be pastors.

His/her testimony:
I was born to a christian family and grew up going routinely to church. I didn't understand why I was waking up and spending a perfectly good sunday in a church pew making no noise, my life was happy except for church it seemed to be a real chore! I didn't do anything really bad or anything, I was a pretty good little kid, I just didn't really know God at all. I figured there must have been some kind of God, I just didn't really care. Things were getting really stressful and I couldn't handle all the problems I eventually ran into. I found myself cheating, stealing, and lying to my own parents! Life was all to complicated! At a camp that I go to every summer, except I only went for the horses really led me to Christ for the first time. I love him so much, and he is always going to be with me. Life is so much nicer when you work with God instead of against him! I've never been happier. God is with me and in me.

How he/she tells others about Christ:
I've been a volunteer at VBS since last year. I play for my churches christmas band. I go to confirmation classes, sunday school, church, and I'm a active youth member. I volunteer here at AY! I'm also a strong believer in that women can and should be ministers. I plan to finish high school, go on to college, and when I'm there take pre ministry classes. Yup you heard me right, God has called me for that position of work, and when he calls I answer end of story. I knew This was my purpose even when I was five years old and didn't believe in him!

Thumbs up

awww, I luv you too blue!! I'm soooo excited about this, WOOT!!!! I was like reading the newsletter and I like blinked histarically like "Huh?? Tina?? That's my name right??" lol I dont want to sound more excited than I am, but I dont think that's possible right now hehe.

Ok so right now I'm working on A forum I'm starting up for the site I'm just restarting up, Im really excited about that, and God has given me so much to be thankful for, I really am totally pumped to be getting a whole ministrie started at my age, or starting one at all.... I'm also currently teaching a English class for beginners on paltalk, as well as constantly ministring the word out there on the web. I'm well on my way to a great knowledge of americal sign languagee, which I thought would be something I might need to know in the future. Plus I'm doing alot of work around the clock online trying to find places I can help out, and helping find the one and only God, It's all so exciting and amazing!!! I didn't think it was possible for me to get a site at my age, but that was one the times I have ended up proving myself encreadibly wrong. Sometimes I will be giving sermons to my sunday online biblestudy, and people will tell me what amazing prayers I make and how great what I had just said was, and how much they had learned from it. And then right before I close up I always rember to tell them that I'm thirteen, and people go all nuts like "why did I bother listening to you?" some get extremly mad that I was misleading them or something, I wasnt because I was just being myself and they never asked for my age. I have become friends with so many of the christian group people out there anymore that they will stay in my room for hours and than defend me and my age. I feel that even though I may young enough to be a grandchild of most of the people I speak with everyday, that I shouldnt look down on my age as a disablity to people listening to me, but a ability to have them listen longer. However my age does get a little annoying offline It creates alot of things I can do online instead. The people I've met are so great, and inspiring and encourgaing that I have hardly anyfear of saying what I want to say, how I feel, or what my Lord wants me to say. And once you overcome that, with teh help of God anything's possible, rember that and keep your eye on God's plan for your life, not your own, and you will do just fine in the ministries. time is one of the enemys but it is possible to overcome time if it is used wisley
