Cuts

They do it
To release the desperation
Unable to breathe
exasperated
I know you hate it
But it seems to keep you alive
The steady drops of blood
Keep pace with your life
Don't try to bleed it away
You'll die before the memories do
You'll cut deeper and deeper
till you cut all the way through
It's true-
The screens' seen too many flat lines
The suicidal holocaust
Never ceases to blow my mind
Maybe to him
watching every cut
is like feeling that spear in his side
He wants to hold you
but he can't deny the crime
Look at the holes in his hands
and the scars on his head
He knows what it means to bleed
And all along it was for you that he bled
So I say, oh brother:
Break free of the stitches
of dead dreams and wishes
raise your tattered arms to heaven...
...and take your first breath...

thats such an amazing poem and real truthful

I used to be a cutter years ago(well lol....bout two yrs ago but thankfully Ive stopped) but i'd nevr thought of it like tht
