Edit Prophet/Prophetess ![]() | Name: Kindra How Long has he/she been saved? 3 years Age: 14 Area of residence: CA Forum Name: singin4theLord Personal statement of faith: Jesus, the Savior of the world, the Messiah. There are a lot of different names for Him. But no human words can describe the love He gives us. He is my Lord and Father. They say faith can move a mountain and I believe thats true. We can move a mountain of people who haven't been saved to the light of Jesus. Just by asking Him to work through us, we can show the world the good news. His or her testimony: When I turned 10 my mom died of a sickness since she had had since she was a child. It broke my heart but after a while of thinking and meditating on that fact, I realized she had done a lot by living as long as she did. Even when docters said she would probably not live through High School. Because my mom had been in a wheelchair, we didn't go to church. It was too hard to get around. After she passed away, my grandparents (who had signed guardianship papers when I was little, in case it happened) decided it would be good to start going to church. They gave ME the choice of going to a large church a friend had taken me too as a first option. As well as a fairly small church that I had gone to choir in. I chose the smaller and it has to be the second best decision I've ever made. Since I was a very shy girl at the time, I thought no one would connect. But people did. For the first time, I felt like people actually cared. I went to the First Church of Orangevale (now known as Pathway Fellowship) for a year of fun and games in Sunday School. But after I turned 11, a whole new door opened. I joined a 101 Bible Study group for girls in 6th grade where I made some lifelong friends. It was there that I finally realized the true miracle about my mom. Since I was little I always knew she was my angel. When she died I didn't know how I would live. But after hearing the lessons and the gospel I realize if she hadn't left, I wouldn't live. But because of the loss, I found a wonderful church and through that church, a wonderful savior. I was baptised and the small "Girls 101 Bible Group Graduation" and became a Christian. That was the best decision of my life. Now that I'm 14, I have my rough times. But even though I'm not perfect I can picture my mom smiling at me. And I can't wait until I see her again. How he/she tells others about Christ: I love to write and since getting into my teen years, I've realized God's given me this gift for a reason. I try to write poetry about how life leads to a good end and a bad end and you can choose which way you take. I usually try to be not totally direct (almost implying) but rather in a way you know it's telling you about a simple choice of accepting Jesus as your Holy Savior, without coming out and say "It's just about a simple choice of accepting Jesus as your Holy Savior".
