What music do they play in your youth group?

we play the equivalent of like no music. we would rather sit around talking about God and playing games in peace. once in a while we will have classical music on. And I am going to disagree on rock music being cool. all it does is make you do stupid things. or i havent seen much good come from Rock.

My youth group usually plays rock or hiphop. (I prefer rock)

Hey man, so beside talk about God and all what else do you guys do in your youth group. For my youth group we have praise and worship at the beginning of the youth. Which is extremely amazing and our style of music would be hard rock. There's nothing wrong with that style of music as long as it glorifies God. We have worship time and then our student youth pastor speaks. We run around 70 or so maybe more if no works and everybody shows up. A youth group is not just a place to hang out but its a ministry and were here to minister to them in worship and the word. But that's our style of music. -Josh (keyboardmaster)

At my church we have two praise bands that are made up of students. One plays rock music, and the other is more pop. We take turns playing: one band will play for two weeks and then the other band will play for two weeks and so on . . . I'm involved in the pop band, our name is "Collision" and the rocks bands name is "Jacobs Well" ( sounds backwards doesn't it ). I play the keyboard and do weird sounds on it!!
