Lightbulb Getting Rejected

If you're throwing signs all over the place that you like someone but they are 3 years older than you... BUT you feel God wants you to pursue your feelings for them, what else can you do? any help would be great...

Thanks,
Elisha

I agree...if you can't tell them how you feel then they might never know...some people just don't know that you're hinting at things...I hope it all works out!

i have been in the situation of the older guy getting pressed by the younger, its kinda awkward depending on the ages, no offense to you but i doubt it will work between a 16 and a 13 year old, the maturity idfference is huge.

3 years? dude...that's pushing legalaties..
anyway, three years is JUST within legal boundaries, I think you can try. but just to let ya know, girls when they get older usually want older guys...
if you wait until your an adult, then there really isn't an issue. but at this age, especially yours, I'd wait a while...don't start throwing signs. you're thirteen...just a thought

I've met 16 year olds that act like they're 12, that's not a big deal, but what is a big deal is that 16 year old girls usually want guys that are like 18 so that's the problem...and a lot of times (not always) they belittle people that are younger than them-no matter how small the age differential (my biggest pet peve...)

I'd have to say to pray about it, and just continue to be friends with this person.

I totally think that it depends on the maturity of the two people. I was interested in someone who was three years older than me and I later found out that he was interested in me as well...why? Because we were of the same maturity...I've known lots of guys who are older than I am to be some of the most immature people I've known...and I've also known girls who are younger than I am to be very mature for their ages...it totally depends on maturity.
