Youth group questions

Hey all,
What do your all's youth groups do for fun? How long is your service? Does your YG have a web site? how big is it? What all does your youth room have in it?

I would just like to know some of this, just tell about your youth group.

our youth group starts at 7 and goes till 8:30. we start off with praise and worship then go into am apprx 30 min teaching, then we hang out, have some snacks, chit chat, and sometimes play some games. were a small group (for now), 6- 10 ppl depending if everyone shows up.
and no, we don't have a web site.

What do your all's youth groups do for fun? My Youth Group used to not do much at all we would just meet up on Wednesdays.. But now we have a Youth Pastor who is just such a blessing he is so stinkin awesome... We do a lot of activities now like over spring break we went to the park one day and went to the mall the next day and then we had a cookout.. This weekend were going to a conference and next week were going to a concert... and we have Sunday night youth


How long is your service? Wednesdays: 6:45-8:30ish... Sunday: 6-7:30


Does your YG have a web site? nope =\... Hopefully I'll be making one though


how big is it? 15-20 people


What all does your youth room have in it? L shaped couch... 3 person couch.. a couple of recliner chairs and a bunch of metal chairs and a couple of TVs and a CD player and a couple of tables then we have another room we use for sundays nights that has a stage with all of the music equipment on it

YOUTH GROUPS!! GOTTA LOVE UM' ....UMM WE GO TO YOUTH CONNECTIONS ONCE A MONTH AND THEM ARE FUN...USUALLY GO TO THE YMCA OR HAVE OPEN GYM AND PLAY BASKET BALL, VOLLEYBALL, SNACKS/DRINKS...YEEHAW...WE DO HAVE A WEBPAGE www.myyouthconnection.org ..of course that is our entire districts webpage but it will give you some insight...

ok, thanks people, keep it comming though! my youth group lasts from 7 to 9, we play games at the first hour, then we hear the sermon. We JUST moved youth rooms, this one is 3 times bigger than the old one, plus it's completely seperated from the rest of the church, we even have our own entrance. We have three 3 person sofas, a (somewhat small) TV, VCR/DVD player combo, a big fan, some metal chairs, a dry erase board, and a mono CD speaker system... oh yeah, and a ping pong table!

We have about 10-15 people, and our youth pastor is (almost) bald, and his wife also helps teach alot. They are cool. We have discipleship at their house on saturday nights, it's a lot of fun.

That's just about it.

My youth group has game nights every so often. The service starts at 6:30 and ends at 8 or so. We have about 10 people in my youth group, but only 5 or so come regularly. In the youth group room: beanbag chairs, chairs, tables, bookshelves, and a TV. Then there's also another room that we meet in before the service starts. In that room: ping pong table and air hockey table. My youth group does not have a website.

My youth group is more like a youth "curch"....we have about 100 high schoolers and about 200 middle schoolers....it is AWESOME!! here is our web site (it is also the church's website....)

It is kinda hard to tell what it is like by just reading the web site but it is SO cool!

The only 'youth group' at my congregation consists of 3 people (a brother and a sister and myself) at most times. Ahhh, we're just a group doing our own studies whom neither fit in with the older or kiddie crowds, LoL. We only have 'youth group' classes Sunday at 9:30am to 10:15am (prior to Church services). I'll start a new series though since the original youth group leader ran out of resources.
