Edit AY! Newbie ![]() | Need To Be Ready Recently I was at church when one of the Student Ministry leaders came up with a video camera and said, "What was the purpose of Jesus?" Thinking that I was about to make a wonderfully long spiritual answer, I said what came to my head. Not a very good idea. (Think before you speak) Later I along with the rest of the youth group watched it and I thought, "Did that even make sense?" Now if I had thought of an answer longer, I would've said "He was an example and made a way for us to follow." or something. Well, I didn't say that and it got me to thinking. What if an unbeliever asked me that question and I didn't have an answer? I think we really should be ready to give an answer to any one who asks. What would you say?? Are you prepared?? For those that aren't sure they're ready, could you please share some ways that helped YOU be able to share at a moment's notice??? Thanks... I think it's a good thing to bring up. In church you don't really think about it cuz everybody knows right?? Well what if someone stuck a camera or a microphone in YOUR face? Would you be a bold witness for Christ?? Or another person who doesn't know...Something to think about. |

Edit Prophet/Prophetess ![]() | what did you actually say? i would say that God sent his only son Jesus, to sacrifice himself for our sins of this world, leading a sinless life and being put to death for no crime.

Edit Prophet/Prophetess ![]() | "But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speka., For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you" (Matthew 10:19-20 NKJV) Holy Spirit speaks through you when you're speaking for Jesus. Doesn't mean you shouldn't prepare and know your faith backwards and forwards, but you've got the Holy Spirit putting the words in your mouth, so you'll do fine if your heart is in it.

We won't help the poor, and turn our faces in shame when we come across the needy and less fortunate But we'll still call ourselves "holy" because we keep our pants zipped up. Adding on to the hypocrisy, the Believers among us WHO DON'T keep their pants zipped still declare themselves to be "holy" because their intentions are directed towards the opposite sex. -http://www.hollywoodJesus.com/ |

Edit AY! Newbie ![]() | What exactly are we preparing for? Is it the coming of Jesus or something? I am always ready and have made decisions for myself alot.Personally i think Jesus can be anyone who does good or acts in the way that we assume to be the almighty charictaristics of Jesus.(you may have noticed i cant spell!) Peace out God bless Tobi xxx |

Edit Super Moderator ![]() | I say "He took the rap so that we wouldn't have to." I've gotten into some deep theological discussions, and sometimes it's pretty heated. Patience and research are great tools Keep praisin!! ![]()

Edit AY! Newbie ![]() | I always thought I was ready, but now, I don't think I am. I stopped christianity for a while, you may ask why? School has been making me busy&often forget about God. A while ago, I started to Serve God once again. I usually have a lot of time in my hands when its weekend~ I think for me&I hope that, God will give me time to be with him and to be fully ready. For now, i'm not quite ready yet, although i'm getting to the point where I almost am. [= |
