Edit AY! Newbie ![]() | You know that feeling you get right after someone sais "lets just be friends"... well i'm feeling that right now. ugh it's horrid. and the thing is, i just wanted to be friends too, but he brought it up and said it to me first, and somehow it hurts more. this happened like 2 mins ago and i had no one to talk to and no one i can tell that i'm actually upset so i came here to let it out... does anyone else do what i do and act strong and like you feel the same way even though you don't? I have an issue w/ that... anytime a guy breaks up w/ me.. i pretend it's all good and i agree w/ why we should. but it's a lie.. i just don't want to look weak or hurt.. i think i'm actually being chicken though by doing this.. maybe not i donno. any way i just am trying not to cry and had no one to talk to so i came here. |

Edit Prophet/Prophetess ![]() | I believe this is something of a "churchy" cliche, but it's still an awesome thought: If this person wasn't right for you, it means that there's somebody better down the line. If thought the person you're dating was the awesomest guy you could imagine, your husband is going to be better than the awesomest guy you could imagine Also, take a look at what you're missing from the relationship. If you enjoyed the time spent 1v1 with the guy, grab one friend and hit the mall together. If you enjoyed the emotional intimacy, chat about something deep with someone you trust, etc.
__________________ It's funny...we can be a liar, a cheat, a thief, a deceiver and a trickster with a foul mouth and a prideful spirit. We won't help the poor, and turn our faces in shame when we come across the needy and less fortunate But we'll still call ourselves "holy" because we keep our pants zipped up. Adding on to the hypocrisy, the Believers among us WHO DON'T keep their pants zipped still declare themselves to be "holy" because their intentions are directed towards the opposite sex. -http://www.hollywoodJesus.com/ |
