How Death Led Me To Christ

I didn't grow up in a Christian environment. My mom and dad always told me you didn't need to go to church to believe in God that it was a waste of time. When my father committed suicide in 2001 someone told me he would go to hell. Out of curiousity I started going to church and I ended up joining a confirmation class. They told you that in order to go to heaven for eternity you had to accept Jesus as your savior and pray for your sins to be forgiven. In May of 2002 I accepted Christ and was baptized. Since Christ has been part of my life I have started to treat others with more respect and love and I'm not nearly as selfish. I also have started to attend church reguraly and youth group twice a week. I love to sit and read the bible. I try to take what I learn in the bible and apply it to everyday life I lost my father but I am grateful now for the outcome it has had on my life, My SALVATION

Awesome testimony!

Neither of my parents go to church either. It may be too late for ur dad, but not for ur mom. If ur not already, it'd be a good idea to pray daily for her (and any brothers/sisters u have that aren't saved). Pray for them daily, and God will reward you for that.

Nice to meet ya sis!

Prayers

I pray for my mom and my older brother all the time that if they don't know Christ they will find him. I'm sure my brother hasn't yet but my mom is iffy it's not a subject she will openly talk about with me yet another thing I pray for. I appreciate all your support
