Typophiles

Typophiles are those obsessed with font...I am a font addict...I think that the last time I counted I had over 550 fonts and I have added some since then...I love fonts...they are so Beautiful!! Oh and I don't like boring fonts...I love fonts with personality!!

Anyone else around here like that??

I think I'm guilty of that!

At one time, I had over a thousand fonts installed on my computer. I think they're still there.

You used to be able to tell who created the document or whatever. Because everyone else in my family always uses 'Times New Roman', and I HATE times new roman. I usually used Decypher Arial Verdana Slicker or Schindler.

I like Verdana or Trebuchet MS as regular fonts, they have to have some kind of personality for me to like them and not just boring like Arial or Times New Roman.

I can't say I'm a fanatic. Just:
- I can identify most fonts on sight (Except for most MS Office ones)
- I hate Times New Roman
- I don't mind trying some new ones
- I love Lucida Console

I have a few custom ones. I had an "Unown" (Pokémon) one at one point, and I have about 5 Star Wars ones.

Well I wouldn't say I'm an addict either but I do hate Times New Roman and Arial. Unfortunately, my history teacher has a serious problem with me using fonts other than Times New Roman.

I think I was trying a new font called Teen Light that I had never used and he said he couldn't read it and I had to reprint it in TNRoman... So from now on I'm sticking to Georgia for history assignments- its a compromise

Just use Arial. That's not overused to a point in which it annoys everyone and it's readable. Or Lucida Console, very readable.

as long as i can read what someone is saying i dont mind what font they use, but font's do add personallity to something that is being said... but i have to say that i really like all the Lucida's. as in this one, Console, and this one, Sans Unicode... so yea... some are really weird tho, and Times New Roman is so boring!!!

LOL, I like Times New Roman, size 12; I have a WordPad document on my computer called "Times template" that I edited in Notepad so it doesn't default to Arial. (I like the subtle serifs on Times; they make it easy to read but not distracting.) And I dislike sans serif fonts, such as:

Arial (as implied)
Verdana
Lucida Console (good for projects that require consistently-sized characters, such as programming, but that's it)
Tahoma (What is this, anyway? Native American font?)
Etc.
